Trees for Tomorrow

Welcome

Trees for Tomorrow was a Province of British Columbia initiative designed to support urban and rural communities in the planting of trees in schoolyards, hospital grounds, civic parks, campuses, parking lots and other public spaces throughout British Columbia. This initiative was part of the Province's strategy to reduce greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

Successful applicants included local governments, First Nations and institutional landowners such as school districts, hospital and universities. Environmental and stewardship groups were invited to apply in partnership with another eligible applicant.

All approved applications have been announced.
